Product details

The JDSU FFL-050 Visual Fault Locator is a highly advanced tool for the quick and precise localization of faults in fiber optic cables. With a powerful laser source that emits a visible light signal at 650 nm and a power of 1 mW, this device enables technicians to efficiently identify breakpoints in fiber optic cables. The light glow that becomes visible at the damaged location significantly facilitates troubleshooting. The FFL-050 is equipped with a universal connector that is compatible with common connector types such as ST, SC, and FC. Optional adapters for LC connectors are available. Additionally, the device offers the ability to switch between continuous and pulsing light beams, increasing flexibility in application. The visible light beam can be used over distances of up to 7 km (Single Mode) and 5 km (Multimode). With compact dimensions and a lightweight design, the FFL-050 is ideal for mobile use.

  • Visible laser signal for quick fault localization
  • Universal connector for common connector types
  • Switchable between continuous and pulsing beam
  • Visible light beam up to 7 km (Single Mode).
