Product strengths:

  • 135° point with cross-grinding for perfect centering and less drilling pressure.
  • Industrial spiral flute for high-precision drilling and fast chip removal.
  • Body made of high-quality steel with titanium nitride coating (TiN). Heat and friction resistant, with up to 6 times longer life than standard metal drill bits.
  • TiN coating has a hardness of approximately 80 HRC and is very wear resistant.
  • TiN has a low coefficient of friction, which means less force is required and less heat is generated when drilling.
  • Compared to traditional HSS twist drills, the speed can be increased by 40-60% and the feed rate by 10-20% without noticeably reducing the life of the drill.
  • Titanium nitride is a poor conductor of heat, so heat generated during drilling is dissipated into the chips and coolant rather than into the drill bit.
