Fire-coated insulation

  • 2-layer colored insulation for wrenches from 6 mm to 16 mm
  • 3-layer colored insulation for wrenches from 17 mm to 32 mm
  • For work on live equipment up to 1000 V according to IEC 60900
  • Made from high-performance steel alloy
  • Opening tolerance according to ISO 691
  • 2- to 3-layer coating with different colors to indicate application safety: safe, dangerous, or very dangerous. A fourth black layer for additional protection of the grip edges
  • This provides protection and a visual warning system
  • If the outer layer is damaged, the brighter color underneath becomes visible, warning the operator
  • Each tool is tested for 10 seconds at 10,000 V at the end of the manufacturing process.
