The hydraulic cordless cutter STILO-S40 from Intercable Tools is designed for cutting fine and multi-stranded aluminum and copper cables with a diameter of up to 40 mm. It features an open cutting head with continuous rotation and cutting blades made of alloyed and hardened tool steel with a special coating to reduce wear. The cutter has a lightweight, compact, and robust design that allows for extremely fast operation through a 3-fold axial piston pump.

It includes electronic control and monitoring of the cutting process, a service-friendly blade change thanks to a simplified innovative design, and a patented cut monitoring system that enables automatic opening of the cutting edges and motor shutdown after the cutting process is completed. Manual head opening is possible in any position.

Additional features include multifunctional electronics with sleep mode, maintenance display, and service control, a 3-color LED for indicating service, battery, and cycle messages, as well as the ability to read all cycles and service data via USB. The charge level is displayed directly on the battery, and the integrated service management includes software updates via USB. Quick head opening is facilitated by a patented return system.
