The Ecopower Plus 8000 is an easy-to-clean eco filter with an integrated UVC lamp designed to eliminate green algae. The Hozelock Cyprio garden pond filter Ecopower+ removes unwanted solids from the pond and converts dissolved organic and chemical fish waste into harmless compounds. The Ecopower+ filter is an external filter that can be installed above ground or partially buried in the ground. The Ecopower+ 8000 is suitable for ponds up to 8000 liters without fish and 4000 liters with fish (maximum fish stock of 170 cm). Dirt from the pond is filtered through a fine-pored foam for excellent initial pre-cleaning before reaching the biomedia at the bottom. These unique Kaldnes biomedia have a very large surface area and ensure continuous regeneration of bacteria in the water. These bacteria are essential for breaking down harmful dirt particles and converting them into beneficial, healthy substances for the pond. The integrated UVC with an 8-watt lamp is used to combat "green water" caused by green algae. The result is excellent cleaning performance, resulting in a clear and healthy pond.
