Capture and smartly utilize the power consumption from intermediate meters. Stay informed about the electricity usage in your home or the feed-in values from your PV system – all conveniently with the Homematic IP LED interface for digital electricity meters. With the Homematic IP LED interface, you can keep an eye on the electricity consumption of areas in your home where you have installed an intermediate meter. The electricity fed in from a PV system can also be recorded with the LED interface at the respective intermediate meter. The data from the intermediate meter is then displayed in real-time and retrospectively via the Homematic IP app. It is also possible to use the measured values for smart scenarios.

Installation

The Homematic IP interface is easily attached to the designated position on the intermediate meter with the reading head. The connection can be removed without leaving any residue, making it suitable for rental apartments. After that, the interface is integrated into the smart home system via the Homematic IP app – done!

Read Power Consumption via Smartphone

All captured consumption data from the Homematic IP interface for digital meters is fully transferred to the Homematic IP app. This allows for a clear overview of current and past electricity consumption at any time. All meter readings and current power are transmitted. Smart highlight: Through continuous measurement of power values, any smart scenarios can be triggered. For example, if electricity is fed in from a PV system, the Homematic IP interface for digital electricity meters recognizes this. With a connected Homematic IP actuator, this produced electricity can then be effectively utilized.
