Product details

The CoolTube consists of a glass tube with or without an internal reflector and reflector side parts that can be placed on the outside for better light distribution. The special feature of the CoolTube is the possibility to directly dissipate the heat of the illuminant. The CoolTube should be integrated into the ventilation system as follows: Activated carbon filter - tube fan - air tube - CoolTube - air tube - silencer. Care should be taken that the tube fan blows through the CoolTube and does not suck, otherwise damage to the motor of the fan may occur due to excessive temperatures. We recommend a Cooltube only as a "last" resort against excessive temperatures. Cool Tubes are very inneficient and reduce the light output enormously.
