The HOBBES PoE Detector PoEsmart is an inline Power-over-Ethernet tester, an essential device for operating a PoE system. It performs power tests on a PSE (Power Sourcing Equipment) and provides an informative power supply status of PoE systems during installation. It identifies the PoE standard - IEEE802.3af, IEEE802.3at, or IEEE802.3bt - that the PSE supports, without requiring a separate PD (Powered Device). PoEsmart is equipped with an internal PD to simulate a powered device. In conjunction with a PD, the innovative technology of PoEsmart is capable of analyzing and monitoring the voltage, current, and power status supplied by the PSE without interrupting the data flow.
