Product details

Galvanized steel, ends chamfered, for the assembly of beam carriers, column shoes, etc.
Steel quality S355 J2/JRC+C, material number 1.0579.

They serve as connectors between steel parts and wooden beams and are driven into pre-drilled holes. The number and dimensions of the dowels used depend on the load calculation and the type of load application and are chosen based on material thickness and installation situation. The spacing of the dowels relative to each other should be selected based on the diameter and their position in relation to the stressed edge and the grain direction.

Advantage:
The chamfer has double the size of the standard DIN 1052:2008-12 Table G.10. This facilitates easier connection of the steel parts with the wooden part or easier driving of the dowels into the wood.
