Product details

Galvanized steel, ends chamfered, for the assembly of beam carriers, column shoes, etc.
Steel quality S355 J2/JRC+C, material number 1.0579.

These serve as connecting elements between steel parts and wooden beams and are driven into pre-drilled holes. The number and dimensions of the dowel rods used depend on the calculation of the load or type of load application and are chosen based on material thickness and installation situation. The spacing of the dowel rods from each other should be determined based on the diameter and their position relative to the stressed edge and the grain direction.

Advantage:
The chamfer is twice the size of the standard DIN 1052:2008-12 Table G.10. This facilitates easier connection of the steel parts with the wooden part or easier driving of the dowel rods into the wood.
