Ends chamfered for the installation of beam supports, column shoes, etc. Steel quality S355 J2/JRC+C, material number 1.0579.

The chamfer is twice the size of the standard DIN 1052:2008-12 Table G.10, which facilitates easier connection of the steel parts to the wooden part or easier driving of the dowels into the wood.
