The Hensel Automatic Enclosure Mi 1448 is designed for the construction of energy switchgear combinations up to 630 A or as a standalone enclosure. It is made from high-quality, protection-insulated polycarbonate. Wall penetrations are equipped with large openings for the electrical connection of the enclosures to each other. Cable entries are possible on all enclosure walls via metric pre-formed holes or mounting flanges. The enclosure can also be installed for wall mounting using external tabs or mounting rails.

The automatic enclosure provides 48 division units for the installation of modular devices according to DIN 43880. It features PE and N terminals for copper conductors, with N being separable for different potentials. Cover strips for sealing unused device cutouts as well as labeling strips for circuit identification are also included. The transparent lid has lid locks for manual operation.
