The PV-GAK from Hensel is a high-quality generator connection box specifically designed for photovoltaic systems up to 1000 V d.c. It complies with the IEC 61439 standard and is fully assembled and pre-wired for easy connection. The housing is made of protective insulated thermoplastic and offers reliable protection against dust and water ingress with an IP 65 rating. The box is suitable for protected outdoor installation and is characterized by its UV resistance. Wall mounting is achieved through robust external brackets made of stainless steel, ensuring a secure and durable installation. The PV-GAK is equipped with two Type 2 DC surge protectors and allows the connection of two PV strings to two inverter inputs. The plug connections are compatible with MC4 connectors, and the lid locks are designed for tool-operated handling.
