This cable junction box is made of high-quality thermoplastic for potting, ensuring a watertight connection. It is suitable for unprotected outdoor installation where there is a risk of condensation and/or ingress of liquids, and can be installed in the ground without live loads. It can be used for heating cable/heating tape up to a maximum surface temperature of 70 °C. For subsequent installations or tests, the cover can be removed along with the sealing compound. The lid is fastened via quick-release fasteners and features external lugs for fastening. It includes terminals for cables up to 10 mm², 5-pole, and cable entry is facilitated through metric pre-stamping in the housing walls. Add-on cable glands are available in the accessories. The product comes with potting compound and sealing plugs.
