It has a larger head diameter and can bear significantly higher loads than countersunk screws due to this enlarged bearing surface. At the same time, it greatly reduces the number of necessary fastening points. The version with partial thread features shank ribs that reduce the screwing torque and create a stress-free connection. The optimal thread pitch ensures easier and faster screwing. Additionally, the patented HECO-TOPIX tip guarantees reduced splitting effects and allows for quick screwing without pre-drilling or countersinking, whether with soft construction timber or hard hardwoods. The result: fast and secure assembly with up to 30 percent less processing effort.
