Rust protecting paint for all bare, rusted, or old coatings of ferrous metals and non-ferrous metals after appropriate pre-treatment, such as garden fences, garden furniture, stair and balcony railings, window grilles, lamps, bicycles, trellises, and windows. Coloured paints are also suitable for radiators.

Hammerite paints are generally not suitable for painting motor vehicles, tempered surfaces (such as barbecue equipment, oven pipes, brake calipers, engines, exhaust systems, etc.), surfaces subject to high mechanical stress (such as floors, lifting platforms, car underbodies, etc.), powder-coated objects, or components with permanent underwater contact (such as swimming pool ladders, in the boat area, baskets for dishwashers, aquariums, etc.).

The colours white, blue, brown, dark green, light grey, red, and black can be mixed together. The colours gold and silver are not mixable.
