Product details

The head tube of the Supercraft striking hammers is filled with steel shot. This causes the shot filling to follow with a delay upon impact of the striking surface on the workpiece. The reduced rebound optimally utilizes the striking energy, allowing for very powerful blows. Additionally, working with Supercraft striking hammers is significantly safer, more joint-friendly, and quieter than with conventional steel hammers. The striking inserts offer outstanding striking properties and enable maximum strength with the highest durability. They are made from extruded, extremely homogeneous material. Compared to injection-molded plastic inserts, they are significantly more wear-resistant and robust, and they do not splinter even at low temperatures. The ergonomically shaped, painted, and very stable hickory handle acts as a vibration dampener. The handle protection sleeve prevents misstrikes. A secure handle-head connection is ensured by an aluminum wedge and securing pin. The durable powder coating protects against corrosion. The handle and striking inserts are interchangeable.
