Hydrophobic mountain cowhide is water repellent and breathable. The inner lining features a 4-layer Gore-Tex® Performance Laminate for extreme demands. It includes Kevlar® cut protection according to class 3, a dimensionally stable synthetic fire sole, and an anatomically shaped toe cap. The anatomically shaped insole and stable rubber/PU sole with a robust terrain profile provide comfort and stability. A PU cushioning wedge offers good shock absorption and rolling comfort. The Haix climate system includes a Micro-Dry lining at the shaft end, while the Haix forest grip system ensures grip on wet tree trunks. The easy running lacing elements are orthopedically modifiable in accordance with DGUV 112-191.
