Steam fixation: Requires steam fixation (steam process). The steam allows the color to penetrate deep into the silk fibers. After fixation, the silk can be washed without fear of color changes.

Animal fibers: H Dupont colors are used on animal fibers (silk, wool, etc.). The colors are vibrant and of the highest quality. They are primarily used on silk, allowing for the creation of unique designs.

Highest quality: Colors based on acid dyes. Due to their high concentration, the colors can be used pure or diluted. They can be used for painting or dyeing and leave no porosity on the silk after fixation.
