The Gedore DS is an indicating torque spanner featuring a dial indicator and a multifunctional drag pointer for controlled right/left tightening as well as checking tightening values. It has a double scale in Nm and lbf-in or lbf-ft on double-tinted, easy-to-read dials. The tool includes a double square drive with a ball safety device and built-in overload protection, featuring a mechanical stop up to a maximum of 25% overload of the maximum value. The display accuracy is ± 4% of the displayed value, according to DIN EN ISO 6789, traceable to national standards. The housing is made of light, robust special aluminum construction, painted with abrasion-resistant rubber handles. It is supplied with a factory test certificate according to DIN EN ISO 6789. The type BDS - EDS includes an optical (LED) and acoustic trigger signal.

This spanner features an audio-visual signal to indicate the preset value, an integrated ratchet function for right and left tightening, and a 2-piece handle for easier storage and transport, all packaged in a sturdy cardboard box.
