Gedore Torque DS is a measuring and signaling torque wrench featuring a dial gauge and a multi-functional friction pointer for controlled fastening and checking of tension on existing fastenings. It has a dual scale in Nm and lbf-in/lbf-ft on two-tone, easily legible dial faces. The wrench includes a double square drive with ball locking and built-in overload protection, featuring a mechanical stop up to 25% overload of the maximum value. The display is accurate to ± 4% of the displayed value, in accordance with DIN EN ISO 6789, based on national standards. The enclosure is a lightweight, sturdy specially designed aluminum construction, painted, with wear-resistant rubber handles. It is delivered with a factory tested certificate to DIN EN ISO 6789.

The wrench also has an integrated ratchet function for clockwise and anti-clockwise tightening and is EPA-compliant (EPA = Electrostatic Protected Area) for use in electrostatically sensitive applications, packaged in a sturdy plastic box.
