Product details

According to DIN ISO 5746, this tool is designed for heavy continuous use. It features high leverage for easier work and induction hardened precision cutting edges. The extra long cutting edges have a hardness of 62 - 64 HRC, making it suitable for both round and flat materials, as well as all types of wires, including hard wire and piano wire up to 1.6 mm. Made from GEDORE special hardened and tempered steel, the tool is drop-forged, oil-hardened, and annealed. It has chrome-plated components with two-component handle covers. The steel-grey finish is complemented by blue dipped non-slip handles. The forceps require 35% less effort, and the gripping surface is designed with file-cut for a particularly effective hold. Additionally, the roughly toothed gripping surfaces securely hold screws, pipes, and more.
