Product details
The Symo GEN24 is also available as a three-phase inverter without hybrid functions, featuring an integrated basic emergency power supply (PV Point). With the Fronius Upgrade Program, the battery connection and the full backup emergency power function can be activated. This allows the Symo GEN24 to be upgraded to the GEN24 Plus via a paid software update (by the installer) in Fronius Solar.web. This results in maximum flexibility and future-proofing, as battery storage and emergency power functions can be retrofitted at any time.
Additional features include: standard connection to WLAN, Ethernet, energy management - 4 digital I/Os to increase self-consumption, Multi Flow Technology - parallel energy flows, even in emergency power situations, Dynamic Peak Manager - optimal yields even in shading conditions, SuperFlex Design - maximum freedom in PV system design, Solar.web - evaluation and analysis tool for greater transparency, a variety of open interfaces for easy integration of third-party components, and Active Cooling Technology - ensuring the longevity of the inverter.
Interfaces: WLAN, 2x Ethernet LAN, 6 digital inputs/outputs + 6 digital inputs for connection to remote control receivers, energy management, emergency shutdown (WSD), 2x RS485 for Modbus RTU SunSpec (third-party), Fronius Smart Meter, Fronius Ohmpilot. The Fronius GEN24 is available in two variants: as an inverter - Fronius GEN24 (integrated emergency power function) and as a hybrid inverter Fronius GEN24 Plus (battery connection, 2 emergency power options). The battery and full backup emergency power function are only available with the GEN24 Plus.
