Fränkische Internal Seal Kabu-IN DD 110 9-48: Additional Details
Kabu-IN DD is a cable seal for one or more cables made of a soft thermoset elastomer in yellow, featuring a solid rubber core and stainless steel press flanges from NW 90. This gas- and pressure-water-tight internal seal is used for Kabuflex® R plus pipes at building entries. The advantage lies in the soft surface, which ensures a secure seal against gas and water pressure. Due to its excellent adhesion properties, the Kabu-IN press ring sealing insert sits securely against pressing water and gas in the pipe. Installation can be successfully carried out through visual contact indication (yellow bead) at the edges of the press flanges. For a secure seal, it is important to ensure that the internal seal is positioned in the area of the pipe's base or screed, or the Kabu-Seal external seal.
