EN ISO 20471 High-visibility warning clothing
Since autumn 2013, the new EN ISO 20471 high-visibility warning clothing has replaced the previous EN 471:2003+A1:2007. EN 471 certified warning clothing with a valid type examination may still be sold until the expiration date specified therein. Since 2010, the validity of the certificates has been limited to 5 years. Therefore, this transitional regulation will end no later than autumn 2018. Important for the end consumer: The lifespan of already purchased clothing is not affected by the existing regulations.
