The Fluke PRV240FS Proving Unit is a portable, battery-operated voltage source in pocket size. The device provides stable AC and DC voltages for measuring instruments with both high and low input impedance.

Designed with safety and regulatory compliance in mind, the Fluke PRV240FS Proving Unit offers a simple and safe way to verify the proper functioning of an electrical measuring device when no known voltage source is available. This allows the measuring device to be tested without the need for personal protective equipment. However, depending on the conditions of use, minimal personal protective equipment may still be required, such as safety glasses or earplugs.

Using the PRV240FS reduces the risk of electric shocks and arc flashes, as you do not have to expose yourself to potentially hazardous electrical conditions when checking the functionality of a measuring device before verifying the presence of voltage.
