The electronic management system (EMS) protects the machine, extends its lifespan, and increases efficiency. It features a new generation of brushless motors with high efficiency and power output. The system includes automatic start and overload protection, along with an infinitely adjustable cutting speed via a potentiometer with automatic start in position A.

An electronic switch is operable from both sides, and the pendulum stroke has a 4-stage setting for high cutting performance. Tool-free saw blade changes are facilitated by a quick clamping system with an ejection function. A double roller saw blade guide ensures precise, angle-accurate cuts, while a removable chip guard allows for tear-free cuts and guides the saw blade.

The saw table can be adjusted for miter cuts up to 45°, with a 0-stop, and can be repositioned for edge cutting. It features a stable base plate with a removable plastic sliding shoe to protect sensitive surfaces. A dust extraction port of 27 mm helps maintain a clean workspace and provides a clear view of the cutting area, complemented by an integrated blowing function for a clear view of the starting point.

The design offers perfect ergonomics with optimally placed SoftGrip surfaces and includes an integrated LED light for optimal illumination of the work area. The tool operates with low vibration for comfortable cutting and features an LED battery capacity indicator. The FLEX battery system is compatible with all FLEX 18.0 V battery packs and is delivered without a battery or charger.
