Fischer Dowel M10 S

The Fischer M-S expansion plug is made of high-quality nylon for screws with a metric thread. This specialized plug can be used in both pre-insertion and time-saving through-insertion mounting. When the screw is turned in, the M-S expands and anchors itself in the drilled hole. The Fischer M-S expansion plug is ideal for securing handles, folding shutters, or rainwater pipes in concrete, aerated concrete, solid gypsum boards, and all other solid and hollow building materials.

Advantages: The internal geometry of the M-S allows for the use of commercially available metric screws or threaded rods, enabling optimal adaptation to the application. The edge-free plug sleeve allows for the necessary deep setting of the plug beneath the plaster down to the load-bearing substrate to achieve maximum load capacity. Since the plug only expands in two directions, the expansion forces can be directed parallel to the edge of the building material by rotating the plug, allowing for smaller edge distances. The slim plug geometry facilitates easy insertion of the plug into the drilled hole for quick and simple installation.

Applications: Handles, folding shutters, trellises, rainwater pipes, spacer mounting, window brackets, grids.

Building materials: Concrete, hollow ceilings made of brick and concrete, sand-lime hollow blocks, sand-lime solid blocks, natural stone with dense structure, solid lightweight concrete blocks, solid bricks, solid gypsum boards, high-hole bricks, aerated concrete.

Functionality: The M-S is suitable for both pre-insertion and through-insertion mounting. When the screw is turned in, the M-S expands in two directions, securely anchoring itself in the building material. The required screw length is determined by: plug length + plaster and/or insulation thickness + component thickness + 1 x screw diameter. It is suitable for metric screws and threaded rods. To facilitate easy screwing of screws and threaded rods, the thread should be chamfered.
