The combined surge arrester from Finder is a highly advanced surge protection device designed for the safe dissipation of lightning currents. With a testing class of Type 1+2+3, this device offers comprehensive protection for electrical systems. It is suitable for installation in the pre-meter area and allows connection to a 40 mm busbar. The combined arrester can dissipate lightning currents of up to 7.5 kA and is designed for a 5-wire system that includes phases L1, L2, L3, neutral conductor N, and earth conductor PE. An optical fault indicator ensures that the device's condition can be monitored at all times. Its compact design, with a width of only 38 mm, allows for space-saving installation, while the overcurrent-protected 230 V power supply ensures compliance with the VDE-AR-N 4100 standard.
