Surge protection device Type 1/2 Series 7P is a range of surge protection devices designed for lightning protection and the safeguarding of sensitive equipment in 230/400 V networks as well as in photovoltaic systems. It can be deployed according to the principles of surge protection EN 62305 before zones LPZ 1, LPZ 2, or LPZ 3. This device complies with EN 61643-11, which sets the requirements for surge protection devices for use in low-voltage installations. It is available as a base unit with factory-coded, interchangeable modules to prevent incorrect installation, or as a compact unit. A varistor failure is indicated by a red signal in the viewing window. It is suitable for mounting on EN 60715 TH35 rail.
