The LED universal dimmer module 40200 is used for dimming resistive, inductive, and capacitive loads such as incandescent bulbs, high-voltage halogen lamps, and low-voltage halogen lamps, as well as dimmable LED lamps. It operates as a trailing-edge or leading-edge dimmer with automatic load detection. It is overload-proof, short-circuit-proof, protected against overheating, and features a soft start function. With a memory function, it stores the last set brightness level and recalls it. The dimmer module is designed for installation in a standard 45 mm flush-mounted box. Operation is done with an electromechanical push button. The electrician can adjust the dimming range and, if necessary, switch the operating mode (from trailing-edge to leading-edge).
