Deep groove ball bearings are versatile and consist of solid outer rings, inner rings, and ball cages. They are insensitive in operation and easy to maintain. Due to their low friction moment, deep groove ball bearings are suitable for high speeds. They are available in single-row and double-row designs, as well as open and sealed versions. Sealed deep groove ball bearings are lubricated for life. The different variants are indicated by specific suffixes:
- Standard = No suffixes
- M = Dual lip seal
- Y = Brass cage
- 2Z = Dual Z-shields
- 2RS = Dual lip seals
- C3, C4 = Increased clearance.
