Single-row angular contact ball bearings are self-contained units with solid outer and inner rings as well as ball cages. The bearings are available in open and sealed versions. Sealed variants are lifetime lubricated. The different designs are identified by so-called suffix codes:
- B = Modified internal design
- JP = Steel sheet cage
- MP = Solid brass cage
- TVH/TVP = Plastic cage
- UA = Universal for paired installation, X and O arrangement with low axial play
- UO = Universal for paired installation, X and O arrangement with zero play
- UL = Universal for paired installation, X and O arrangement with slight preload
- P5 = Tolerance class
- 2RS = Double lip seals.
