The F1 has been the official survival knife of the Swedish Air Force pilots since 1995. With the F1, a new global standard was set by focusing on important details such as technical design, ergonomics, and economy. The F1 exceeds international standards for strength, personal safety, and value for money. It is a larger multipurpose knife designed for heavy-duty tasks. The new version of the bestselling F1 now features a blade made from the new special steel Lam. VGWolf (VG7). This steel differs from other stainless special steels due to its unusually high tungsten content (1.25%), resulting in a knife that retains its sharpness better and is somewhat stronger. Also new is the Zytel sheath.
