Inadequate lighting can pose safety risks or lead to inspections by OSHA. The Extech LT300 light meter can determine whether adequate lighting is present to protect workers, students, visitors, patients, or participants at various venues. This portable device measures up to 40,000 Fc (or 400,000 Lux) and uses an external light sensor connected via a 30 cm spiral cable (which can be extended up to 60 cm). A clearly visible LCD display shows a digital reading along with a complementary analog bar graph, allowing for quick, reliable assessments. Includes a 9V battery, light sensor with protective cover, protective holster, and padded carrying case.
