Product details
RS485 bus wireless alternating current meter, maximum current 65A, standby loss only 0.5 watts. Rail-mounted device for installation on DIN-EN 60715 TH35 mounting rails. 1 division unit = 18 mm wide, 58 mm deep. Accuracy class B (1%). With RS485 interface. Connection to the Eltako RS485 bus. Cross-wiring of bus and power supply with a jumper. The meter reading, current power, and serial number are transmitted to the bus, for example, for forwarding to an external computer, the software GFVS 4.0 or GFVS-Energy, and also sent via the FAM14 into the wireless network. It is necessary to assign a device address from the wireless antenna module FAM14, as described in the operating manual. Display also with FEA65D. The alternating current meter measures active energy based on the current flowing between the input and output. The self-consumption of only a maximum of 0.5 watts is not measured. Like all meters without MID conformity declaration, it is not approved for monetary electricity billing in Europe. An external conductor with a current of up to 65A can be connected. The starting current is 40 mA. In operation, the rotary switch must be set to AUTO. Power consumption is indicated by a flashing LED. If the L-input and L-output are swapped during connection, a HT/NT switching telegram is sent every 20 seconds to indicate the connection error. For an expected load of more than 50%, a ventilation distance of 1/2 division unit must be maintained from adjacent mounted devices. For this purpose, 2 spacers DS14 and two additional long jumpers, besides the short jumper, are included in the delivery.
