The gateway with IP interface for the series 14 power meters over WLAN has a standby loss of only 0.8 watts. It is a modular device designed for mounting on DIN rail EN 60715 TH35. One division unit corresponds to 18 mm in width and 58 mm in depth. The gateway is only 1 division unit wide. For operation, the gateway must be integrated into a WLAN that uses the 2.4 GHz frequency band. The connection is made to the Eltako RS485 bus. Cross-wiring of the bus and power supply is done with a jumper. Operation is possible in conjunction with FAM14 or FTS14KS. The hold terminal is connected to the FAM14 or FTS14KS. The IP connection is made via WLAN. The gateway transmits data from any Eltako power meters on the RS485 bus via the MQTT protocol to an external MQTT broker. The data is encoded according to the EnOcean over IP format. Configurations and updates are carried out via the Eltako Connect app or through a web interface.
