Product details

The digital type B+ residual current devices (RCDs) are suitable for all systems, machines, and devices where DC fault currents may occur, such as:

  • DC applications like photovoltaic systems or uninterruptible power supplies
  • Medical devices such as X-ray machines
  • Testing and experimental equipment in laboratories and training rooms
  • Frequency converters for motor applications
  • Controls for elevators and cranes
  • Drives with speed control for rolling mills, lathes, and mills
  • Workshops, e.g., for the use of welding equipment
  • Construction
  • Charging stations for electric vehicles.

Type B+: All-current sensitive RCD for applications where DC fault currents may occur. Non-selective, non-time delayed. Protects against all types of fault currents. Also meets the requirements of VDE 0664-400 (formerly VDE V 0664-110) for enhanced fire protection.
