Product details
Design of a voltage-independent residual current circuit breaker for industrial and commercial applications with high rated current. Double comfort terminal (lift/spade), dual contact position indication in red-green. The switch functions independently of its position.
Application Notes: The residual current circuit breaker and its tripping mechanism are independent of the mains voltage, allowing use in all access areas. The residual current circuit breaker is suitable for providing fault protection, additional protection, and/or fire protection. The requirements of the relevant installation regulations (e.g., IEC/EN 60364) apply.
Test Button: The test button "T" should be pressed every 6 months. The operator of the system must be informed of this requirement and its responsibility. Under special conditions (e.g., damp and/or dusty environments, environments with contaminating and/or corrosive conditions, environments with high temperature fluctuations, installations with risks of overvoltage due to switching devices and/or atmospheric discharges, mobile power supply units), it is recommended to test monthly. The regulations of the installation standards regarding special applications and environments apply.
If the device simultaneously shows a red and yellow LED, the test button must be pressed, and the steps in the installation instructions must be followed. Pressing the test button "T" only tests the function of the residual current (RCD) circuit breaker. This test does not replace the measurement of earth resistance or the proper testing of the protective conductor, which must be carried out separately.
