Dunlop Winter Sport 5
215/45R18 93VProduct details
If you are going on a winter holiday by car, winter tyres are mandatory and even in normal everyday life, these tyres have clear advantages over summer tyres from temperatures below 7°C. A highly recommended tyre is the Dunlop Winter Sport 5, which is relatively fresh on the market and is regarded as a high-performance winter tyre that is equipped for all winter challenges with its multi-slat technology. By intelligently distributing the many small lateral grooves in different designs over the entire tread surface, this model provides the best possible grip in snow, wet conditions and even on ice.
Of course, the Dunlop Winter Sport 5 has not only been developed to climb the mountain even in the worst road conditions. An optimised design ensures very high driving stability and optimum handling characteristics. If the road conditions allow it, this winter tyre can also be driven a little faster. At least the speed index H indicates that this type of tyre is permitted up to a speed of 210. At the same time, the Dunlop Winter Sport 5 scores with its high aquaplaning resistance. The braking and wetness properties are marked B on the EU tyre label. Due to the reduced rolling resistance (class C of G) this version is relatively economical for a pure winter tyre with M+S marking. Even the rolling noise is limited to 70 dB (A). Some dimensions of the Dunlop Winter Sport 5 are even a little quieter.
