HSS hand taper reamer with straight shank. This HSS hand taper reamer with straight cutting edge is designed for enlarging parallel holes and for finishing pre-formed tapered holes. It can be used on most ferrous and non-ferrous metals. Metric reamers comply with ISO/BS328/DIN9 standards and have a 1:50 taper angle in diameter, while imperial reamers conform to BS328 standards with a 1:48 taper angle in diameter.
