The Dormer C428 DIN 844 K end mill is a highly advanced tool designed for precise milling operations in various materials. With a nominal diameter of 16 mm and a cutting length of 32 mm, this end mill offers optimal performance for applications such as shoulder milling, slot milling, and ramp milling. The construction from HSS-E-PM and the special Alcrona coating provide enhanced wear resistance and durability. The end mill features an HRA cord profile with uneven helix and four cutting edges, ensuring efficient chip removal and high machining quality. With a helix angle of 35° and a cutting angle of 12°, this end mill is ideal for machining alloyed and tool steel, stainless steel, cast iron, as well as copper and its alloys. The shaft tolerance of h6 and the 16 mm Weldon shank allow for precise and stable clamping in the machine.
