With an integrated smoke detector control unit and electromechanical hold-open device for TS 98 XEA in XEA design, the correct sequence for closing double-leaf doors is ensured. It allows for precise holding of fire and smoke protection doors and is completely independent of other systems, making it monitorable and controllable. Note: The hold-open point is also the maximum door opening angle; door stops should be used. In case of an alarm or power failure, the hold-open function is released, and the door is closed by the door closer. The control is carried out via the integrated smoke detector control unit. The adjustable release force (tool-free) allows for easy manual triggering of the hold-open function. Connection options for additional detectors and external manual release, as well as a potential-free alarm contact, are also available. Installation on the hinge side. For particularly large and heavy doors (over 1250 mm) or doors where the hold-open point should exceed 130°, we recommend using magnetic hold-open devices instead of the electromechanical hold-open device.
