RCBOs combine residual current and circuit breakers in one device (RCCB/MCCB combination). They protect people from fault currents and equipment from short circuits and overloads. The DRCBO 4 has a rated breaking capacity of 6 kA. In addition to a trip indicator, it also features a labeling window. Type A switches are sensitive to both pulsating and alternating currents. This function is independent of the mains voltage. Switches with a C characteristic are optimized for circuits with high inrush or peak currents. Standard switches are designed for circuits with a rated voltage of 230 V or 400 V and a rated frequency of 50 Hz.
