Product details
RCBOs combine residual current and circuit breakers in one device (RCCB/MCB combination). They protect people from residual currents and equipment from short circuits and overloads. The DRCBO 4 has a rated breaking capacity of 6 kA. In addition to a tripped indicator, it also features a labeling window. Type B+ residual current circuit breakers detect smooth direct residual currents as well as all other residual currents at frequencies up to 20 kHz. The required operating voltage is derived from the mains voltage, ensuring correct voltage supply when the voltage between the mains conductors is >= 50 V. Pulsed and alternating residual currents are detected independently of the mains voltage. Switches with tripping characteristics B are the standard protection for lighting and socket circuits. Standard switches are designed for circuits with a rated voltage of 230 V or 400 V and a rated frequency of 50 Hz. Features include: all-current sensitivity for residual currents with frequencies from 0 Hz (smooth direct current) to 20 kHz, independent tripping for type A residual currents, compact size for all rated currents, switching position indicator, separate indication of the tripping reason, terminal blocks with a wide clamping cross-section range on both connection sides, neutral conductor on the right, labeling window, mounting type: quick fastening on mounting rails, installation position flexible, preferred supply from above, application areas: commercial and industrial installations with TT, TN-S, and TN-C-S systems, where power electronics devices are used without galvanic isolation, such as frequency converters, switch-mode power supplies, high-frequency current converters, photovoltaic or UPS systems with transformerless inverters, RCBOs of type B+ and type B with NK characteristics should be used there.
