Product details

RCBOs combine residual current and circuit breakers in one device (RCCB/MCB combination). They protect people from fault currents and equipment from short circuits and overloads. The DRCBO 4 has a rated switching capacity of 6 kA. The HP variant of the residual current circuit breaker has been specifically developed for the protection of heat pumps and detects smooth direct fault currents as well as all other fault currents at frequencies up to 20 kHz. With an HP-optimized short delay, the all-current sensitive residual current circuit breaker is resistant to surge currents, providing higher equipment availability due to fewer false trippings. Switches with a C characteristic are optimized for circuits with high inrush or peak currents. Standard switches are designed for circuits with a rated voltage of 230 V or 400 V and a rated frequency of 50 Hz. Features: all-current sensitive for fault currents with frequencies from 0 Hz (smooth direct current) to 20 kHz, independent tripping from the mains voltage for type A fault currents, compact size for all rated currents, switching position indicator, separate indication of the tripping reason, terminal blocks with a wide clamping cross-section range on both connection sides, neutral conductor on the right, labeling window, mounting type: quick fastening on mounting rail, installation position arbitrary, preferred supply from above. Areas of application: HP variant RCBOs are suitable for private, commercial, and industrial installations with TN-S, TT, and TN-C-S systems where heat pumps are used. Notes: suitable for use in 50 Hz AC networks, not suitable for use on the output side of controlled electrical devices such as frequency converters.
