This paper tube set contains approximately 450 paper tubes, each about 12 cm long, which can be used as natural filling material for insect hotels. The cardboard tubes come in different diameters, allowing many various species of wild bees and solitary bees to find a suitable nesting cavity. The set includes 150 nesting tubes with diameters of approximately 4 mm, 6 mm, and 8 mm each. The paper tubes are made from 100% recycled paper and are biodegradable, making them safe to use in your insect hotel. As long as the bee house is properly placed, it is only a matter of time before nesting success becomes visible through the sealed brood tubes. The package also includes the flowering plant mix "Bee Feast" for an area of about 5 m². The seed mix contains many different annual flowering plants that serve as a food source for wild bees. This way, you provide these beneficial creatures with a welcome alternative to the increasingly rare flowering meadows. The paper tubes are manufactured in Germany, ensuring the highest quality and reducing emissions due to short transport distances.
