Special charger for lithium iron phosphate batteries (LiFePo4). Fully automatic 8-step battery charger with a charging current of 20A, suitable for LiFePo4 batteries with a nominal voltage of 12.8V. This charger can be used for all 12.8V LiFePo4 batteries with a capacity of 40Ah to 200Ah. The innovative 12V LiFePo4 charger is equipped with the latest battery charging technology and charges LiFePo4 batteries particularly effectively. This is achieved through a switch-mode power supply combined with a microprocessor-controlled charging process. The charging program has been specifically tailored to the needs of lithium iron phosphate batteries (LiFePO4, also known as LFP and LEP). This device is not suitable for other types, such as lead-acid batteries.

The charger can remain permanently connected to the battery if desired. The built-in electronics with the program-controlled processor prevent overcharging and maintain the charge level. The device has an intelligent diagnostic function for the connected battery, measuring the voltage drop without load over a certain period. During maintenance charging, a new charging cycle is automatically initiated when a voltage drop occurs. For continuous charging, the ring terminal cables are permanently attached to the vehicle battery. The automotive battery charger is connected to the ring terminal cable via a quick-connect plug, which is very convenient as the ring terminal cables can remain permanently on the battery.

The device is robustly designed with an internal fan, allowing it to be integrated into a vehicle's electrical system. The charger has elongated holes in the housing for permanent installation in a vehicle or garage. It allows for a maximum fast charging current of 20 amperes up to 90% charge.
