Spiral groove form "LEWIS" enables maximum chip removal and thus high drilling progress. The cylindrical shank is suitable for drill diameters up to 10 mm, while the hexagonal shank is for drill diameters from 12 to 32 mm. The circumferential cutting edge allows for clean drilling with minimal chipping. The self-retracting thread centering point ensures precise tapping and spot drilling.

Examples of use include a special wood drill for fast, precise drilling in hardwood and softwood, glue-laminated beams, and end-grain timber.
