The DT4587 Rapid Wood Drill from DeWALT is an extra sharp Forstner bit, also known as a knot drill, designed for the cleanest drilling results with very fast drilling progress. It features two extra sharp cutting edges for quick drilling, an aggressive self-centering tip for rapid penetration into the material, and a non-slip shank for optimal grip in the chuck. It is suitable for use in both corded and cordless drills and produces clean and precise holes in hardwood, softwood, wood floors, old building ceilings, drywall, and similar materials.
